Moderator etiquette

Also, I find, giving a short and precise answer is in most cases the best thing you can do

but some times it's needed to reply with more words in order to the user understands it.

Of course there are some I will not most likely even try to adjust to my posts. As closing the message. o_o True, it makes the stuff seem more professional but if you forget to add the "regards" in the end of your post even couple of times it just makes you look a lot more like a douche.

I disagree.Its not important (for me) to have a first class business.We must aim to give the best service to our members-Quick respons on any question they make.

We don't want nobody to feel like a 2nd class, and everyone is free to do as he wishes and feel comfortable, but just within a very simple guideline that was suggested here. Besides that we want all of you to feel comfortable to participate. Please let me know if this is not the impression you have.

No this isnt the impresion i had.
First of all I didnt study to be a moderator,and second,,People only participates in the forum if they have a question,once we answer them,they never go back in the forum,thats why It will be a good idea to create a chat box,we can put it on a blogger so the chat will not reduce the site speed.

Overall activity has dropped like hell over the last 2 years!
The forum used to be crowded and extremely active. But when some active members stopped using it, it was no longer interesting to some.
RIP. ;p

Yes, we've noticed the activity in the forum has dropped and that members only make a post once, get a response and then never post again ... it is a problem we're trying to rectify and my personal impression is that this very forum (Moderators Forum) is more active than any other forum in this site.
We are working very hard to get more users to visit but this is not an easy task, and I do remember the way things were in the past likewise. We just have to be honest about things and understand it's quite different rules of the game now, and there are tons of sites like ours starting on a daily basis, hence competition and such ... :)
