Now it has have been given the go-ahead for what will be the worlds tallest building.
The Saudi royal family opens the vault and invest nearly 200 billion.
It will culminate in the Kingdom Tower, a 1600 meters high skyscrape..
The goal is very spectacular. Just consider that the Saudi building, to be erected in the port city of Jeddah,
will be twice as high as the world today tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai who is 828 meters.
The building was first renamed to The Mile-High Tower. It was no coincidence, as an English mile is
1609 meters (1609, 344 feet to be completely accurate).
Later they renamed it, to The Kingdom Tower, after the company that put up the money for this projeklet.
