hello, is it needed when I want to pay with euros on sites that I change my USD from pay-pal to euros? Or does that happen automatically?

yes it does just make a euro paypal account

When you received USD currency from us PayPal is asking you to approve the payment, and when you approve it you have 3 options:

1) Convert the money to Euros
2) Open a USD currency in PayPal (money will be kept in this currency and that's good in a case you're using to buy things with USD currency such as on eBay)
3) Return the money to us
