The world’s first aerial cable car called the Cabrio was unveiled in Switzerland in May 2012.
The Cabrio is a double deck open-topped cable car which operates on the 1900-meter Stanserhorn near Lucerne giving its passengers an amazing view of the Swiss Alps as they travel.

The Cabrio can accommodate 60 passengers at a time and 30 of them can climb the upper open deck using the short inner stairway. The length of the world’s first open-air cable car is 2.3 kilometers and it travels at the speed of 8 meters per second, and the highest point is close to 2 kilometers above ground. :)

It says that this cable car in Switzerland goes up 2 kilometers, and that is about 6600 ft - so you have been higher up.
