The pool at the Chilean tourist-village San Alfonso del Mar is gigantic.

It is over 800 meters long, 35 meters deep and contains 250 million liters (one Olympic swimming pool is "only" 50 meters long, 2 meters deep and contains 2.5 million liters of water).

It was discovered by a portuguese (of course ) named Tristão da Cunha, that's why it was named like that!
